Eating At Before Bed To Improve Protein Synthesis?

I recall reading that eating right before bed increases protein synthesis because durning sleep you are in a fasted state and your body doesn’t have sufficient protein or something.

Is this bull****?

Apparently eating before bed gives your body something to use as energy during the night and improves protein synthesis.

Thoughts?
