Hello everyone!
I’m very new to this website but I’m experiencing a lot of confusion about my diet right now so I though this would be a great place to ask my questions. I’ve been strength training for over two years but really lifting heavy for this pst year. I’ve also been in a calorie deficit for this past year which allowed me to lose 20 lbs. However, with being in school I think I may have made my deficit too large as there were weeks that I would eat on average 1400-1500 calories which was way below my maintenance as I was going to the gym and was generally active. I’ve recently hit a plateau where I’m not losing any more weight, but I don’t want to drop my calories any further as it would be too low for me to actually maintain. I’m currently not unhappy with my physique but I would like to have a bit more definition which I think I need to lean out more for. I don’t know whether I should be eating more or less so my diet has been all over the place as a result of it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what my goal should be in terms of nutrition right now?
My weight is 141 lbs and my height is 5”6 for reference.
