0.7g protein per kg bodyweight (0.3g/lb)???

I currently consume 0.7g protein per kg bodyweight (0.3g protein per lb bodyweight), and that's just because the foods I love most are coincidentally low in protein; rice, fruits, dried fruits, veggies, etc. I eat healthy in general and exercise regularly; lift and cardio. What kind of transformation will happen (physical– and strength– wise) if I start consuming 1.5 g protein per kg bodyweight (~0.68g protein per lb) ? And how soon will I see these changes?
