Omega 3&6 from cooking oil + eggs vs. fatty fish

I rarely eat fish, let alone fatty fish, so I'm somewhat concerned about getting my omega 3s&6s. I do, however, eat eggs (not the ones with omega 3 added in however) daily, and I usually eat some stir fried dish cooked with Canola/Vegetable oil, which I guess contains a lot of omega 3s. Is there any advantage to getting Omega 3s&6s from meat as opposed to plant-based food or eggs?
