drinking whey with milk upon waking up

is it alright drinking whey with milk upon waking or even post workout ?
I heard jym stoppani says that drinking whey with casein is better than whey alone cause when drinking whey with casein the whey absorbs fast and then the casein keeps building protein synthesis slowly ..
and there is the theory that drinking whey with any form of casein , will slow the aborbtion of the whey ..
which is true ?

btw my age is 18 not 48
Im cutting right now ..
