Hi! I am new to this website so if I mess up on the forum rules or regulations let me know and I will fix them ASAP. My name is Ethan and I am 21, I weigh 205lbs, I am 6"1' ,and have been diagnosed with chrons since I was 8 years old. Currently I am taking a 40 mg shot of Humara every week to suppress my symptoms. I am on a fairly strict diet with about 3 or 4 cheat meals a month. I lift weights 6 times a week doing a push pull legs system with 3 days of cardio as well. I can lift crazy amounts compared to my friends who are in the gym, and are much bigger than me. (deadlift 415, 4 sets of 10 my buddies dont even touch 2 plates). I also play hockey about 2 times a week (not included in the cardio). So now that I have given the background information. I have incredibly small muscles and my muscle size is not getting bigger. I tried increasing my caloric intake and upping my macros (primarily protein). I do not feel the exhaustion or pain that is often felt with chrons, while working out and it actually has helped curb my depression, but I am still very unhappy with the way my body looks. I seem stuck in a skinny-fat body no matter what changes I make. I dream of being able to compete but its been a year and a half and while I've lost 60lbs (most of it fat) I have not made any progress in making my muscles more visible. My muscles have also been progressivley getting more strong, so I do not think its a malnutrition issue because I am getting a ton of food in. I would love to hear from other people with Chrons, or anyone who can give advice. If you have any questions or need more info please ask away.
Best regards,
Ethan
