Hello I just joined the forum today so if im doing something wrong please forgive me.
Ive started my first cut after 2 years of off and on wheel spinning "bodybuilding". going to cut and then clean bulk by the book from hear on out.
From what I found my maintenance calories are supposed to be 3100. is this right? ( 6' 4'' 210 lbs and 13 percent body fat currently doing a 5x5 with some extra arm stuff as they lag behind with two 15 min days of cardio). So according to that my cut deficit should be 2600 it just seems high to me. I guess for the past few years I would have been getting around 2800 a day and not loosing any weight so maybe my metabolism is messed up.
So I lift 3 times a week for 45min to an hour and do 30 min of cardio per week. Outside of the gym I am kinda lazy but I do walk to class and such.
My diet for today was 239g carbs 52g fats and 219g protein
Ive got crohns so I am sure that affects my nutrition requirements somewhat.
I just want to know if I have a good start to my cut or if there is anything i need to adjust.
