Weight loss challenge tips

Hi everyone,

I am participating in a weight loss challenge with several of my friends during February and I'm searching for advice.

The challenge: Weigh in, Feb. 1, 9 p.m. Weigh out, March 1, 9 p.m. The winner is whoever loses the highest percentage of weight. So far there are four and my friends and myself committed to participating.

I am the skinniest out of all of us (6'4, 225lbs) and feel I will have the hardest time losing a lot of weight. I am currently on a lean bulk and have gained about 10 pounds over the past 3 months. By the time the challenge begins I hope to be around 230.

I will continue my bulk until the challenge. Does anyone have any advice on how to weigh as much as possible before the first weigh in? For a couple days before weigh in, whats a good strategy to bloat and put on as much water weight as possible that I could easily get rid of.

As far as the actual challenge itself, I have been tracking calories for some time and have a good idea of what I want my macros and caloric deficit to look like. I am just looking for some tips I may not be aware of as I have never done something like this before.

Basically, what are some good tips for high weight gain in a short amount of time, and high weight loss in a short amount of time?

Thanks!
