So I’ve heard both sides to recomp but was curious if it mattered. Ive read that for a recomp you should eat maintenance+100 calories on workout days and maintenance -500 on rest days and on the workout days you have higher carbs lower fat and non workout days you have higher fat lower carbs.
Does it matter if I cycle like that or just stick to maintenance cals while lifting 5/6 times a week with like 30 minutes of cardio after a workout?
I’m 180 so it what I planned on was (obviously give or take a few but that’s a typical day of eating I would do tracked in MFP)
172g protein
68g fat
206g carbs
In the end would I not come very close or have the exact same results? Eating like that compared to carb/fat cycling?
Thoughts?
