Post weight training & pre cardio workout protein intake

It’s nearing the time when I incorporate cardio back into my bodybuilding program. The issue is that my schedule prevents me from 2 per day sessions (cardio in the A.M. & weight training in the P.M).

Because of my schedule I need to get them in during the same training session.

My question is if I am weight training and immediately after, performing my cardio when is the best time to take my protein?

My concern is that if I do cardio first my weight training intensity will suffer since my glycogen stores will be depleted therefore my strength being under par for weight training. Normally, if I was able to perform cardio first and weight training immediately after I would simply consumer my protein at the end of the weight training program (and the end of the daily workout).

However, if I reverse this, weight training first and cardio right after I am able to maintain the level of intensity I need for that session. My worry is that if I consume protein immediately after my weight training and right before cardio, my cardio would be spent burning the calories from the post workout protein therefore making cardio ineffective for burning any excess fat I am trying to get rid.

Or am I overreacting and over overthinking this because the protein I consume post weight training session will be absorbed so fast that the cardio session won’t even have a chance of using that post weight training session protein from fueling my cardio as opposed to any excess fat?

Hope this scenario and description makes sense and if it does when should ideally consume my protein with weight training first and cardio immediately after.

Does what I describe here make sense to anyone of you and if so what is the best course of action here?

Thanks.
