So my situation is this, rewind to oct 7th 2017 i was 357 lbs... fast forward i am now 239 lbs ... and have been working out for the past 2 months religiously lifting and following workout plans
i've upped my intake to a little over maintenance but after being on a keto diet for 9 months in a deficit of eating around 1950 calories a day i find it nearly impossible to hit my daily calorie intake goals fat/protein...
i'm struggling with the desire to make myself into a brick wall.. and my fear of gaining weight back if i leave the diet... my workouts suffer as well being i don't have the elongated energy i would if i was on a traditional diet
with the lack of carbs. as it stands right now my daily goals intake wise are 20g net carbs or less///232 grams of healthy fats///166 grams of protein... but at best i'm averaging 75% of those daily leaving roughly 40-60 grams in fat/protein leftover daily...
i worked so damn hard to lose this weight i'm religiously working out but now the struggle is how do i gain muscle while being unable to eat more nutrients to provide for the new growing muscle???? any input would be greatly appreciated
