How to manage additional calories on a carb cycle

Hi

How do you balance calorie intake if you do unplanned exercise during a carb cycle? Example going for an unplanned run and burning 400 calories. On a typical IIFYM without carb cycle I would just eat any extra calories burned as carbohydrates. If I go for a run on a low carb high fat day should i balance those calories with extra fat or extra carbs? Or a combo perhaps
