I'm in recovery and doing well mentally.
However, I'm having massive issues with digestion, some of which seem to be similar to what many describe as common SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) signs.
Mainly lack of motility, excruciating bloating, etc...
From what I understand, 'feeding' the bacteria with sugars, ie those found in FODMAP-heavy foods, can worsen this.
Caveat though: I don't seem to have 'issues' absorbing fats, which is apparently another common symptom.
Just curious if this is a common thing... I was considering trying to simply increase fat intake and lowering sugars, but i need to be careful as not to cause any lack of calories while I'm trying to up my weight.
