40/30/30

Opinions on a 40/30/30 macro split as in 40% fat 30% protien and 30% carb. Obviously which macro split works best differ from person to person and goal to goal also i know it’s a controversial topic but for maintenance or dropping fat is there anything inherently bad about a 40 fat 30 protien 30 fat macro split? in my case at maintenance the 30% protien equates to 1 gram per pound of body weight. So assuming i maintain the gram per body weight in a cut and keep the split relatively close to 40/30/30 any big problems or benefits with that?
