What Do You Actually Eat To Reach Goals?

I've been in the gym around 3 days a week now since May. And between May and July, I lost 15 pounds from 227. Currently, I am 215 and still trying to lose weight, mainly in my gut. I never really followed a meal plan except for keto recipes during that time and a few weeks afterward. Now I feel like I am stuck so I found the thread that Mrpb posted here about counting everything which I did. Looks like to start my weight loss again I need to eat about 2200-2300 calories a day since my TDEE is 2800. I read that he also suggests .7 grams of protien for my ideal body weight, as well as the fat at .4. I want to shoot for 195lbs so its about 137g of protien and 78g of fat.

But I am not really sure where to go from there. I tried doing a sample plan in myfitnesspal with breakfast lunch and dinner and was not even close to my calorie goal for the day, so I added in a serving of a protien shake before and after lunch and still did not even come close, I think it was around 1000 calories left. The breakfast was a couple eggs, a cup of egg whites, and an orange. Lunch was a sample meal on myfitnesspal. Dinner was also found on myfitnesspal.

How exactly do I reach that goal of 2200 calories, which in a way scares me but I keep reading that with proper working out and nutrition lets you lose weight but being new to it all in my head I still have that thought of less calories is better. I definitely eat way under 2200 now. I am also starting a program at my gym which seems to be more of a HIIT workout plan for the next 30 days.

Thanks for any help and sorry if I didnt look at a specific thread that I shouldve before posting.
