Hello,
So from what I gathered from various sources I get that in order to build muscles I have to eat something like 2300 calories. Following the 40/40/20 rule the calories would divide in proteins 230g = 920 calories, carbs 230g = 920calories, fats 51g = 460 calories. But I also read that I have to eat like 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. I weight 141 pounds so that would be 141g proteins I have to eat in order to build muscle. What I don't understand is why is the 40/40/20 thing so different than the 1g protein per POBW thing. Pls help
