Hello fellas. I overheard some guys talking at the gym i go about protein shakes immediately after workout. They were talking that you should first eat some high glycemic food because if you don't the protein you drink will get destroyed and you don't enjoy the full benefit from the shake. So, high glycemic food immediately after workout, you wait 5-10 min, then you have your whey shake.
Is there any true to this?
I couldn't find any solid data about this on the net.
