I'm going back to University full time and for a while am gonna have to live on 40$ CAD a month vs the 160$ CAD I usually spend on groceries. I was fat once, now I'm in shape and look like a rugby forward, and I'm not going back to fat. So no dollar store ramen, no frozen dinners (stouffers, pizza pockets, etc), no sodium packed soups, no pizza. I have the body I want, I know if i don't intentionally get fatter I'm likely to get skinnier throughout the next three years of University but I want to maintain some mass.
What I've thought of so far is:
-10 lb basmati or jasmine rice bags
-oatmeal with frozen fruit
-Japanese Katsu curry cubes which aren't the best but are better than American just add water sauces.
-Napa cabbage and bok choy
-Whole animal limbs like goat legs, chicken legs back attached, bison shank which I can cook, pull, sauce and divide into 3tbsp sized portions to flavour rice
-Bulk bags of croissants (not the chemical supermarket ones) that I keep in the freezer
-87% Dark Chocolate 2$ bargain brand.
Do you guys have any suggestions? I'd like to work in some Greek yoghurt but lord knows that goal isn't likely.
