How important is protein source?

I eat a lot of PB and jelly sandwiches, they are my favourite, cheap and easy to make i have this for breakfast every morning. 4 slices of bread with 40-50g peanut butter it works out to 30g protein in total. Is this a good source of protein? Would changing to whey protein or meat make much difference?
