Hi guys,
So I will be starting track, and I will be lifting for the first time in 6 months. My school starts around 8 am in the morning, and I have lunch at 11:40. My track starts at 3:30 pm, and I usually lift 3 or 4 times a week (usually around 5 pm) after my track long distance workouts. I plan to have 3 meals daily. For my breakfast, I'm planning on having a protein shake (protein powder, frozen fruits and vegetables, oats, milk, and greek yogurt blended together), and for lunch I plan on having pasta with some chicken and vegetables. Dinner, I will have rice with chicken and vegetables. Is this a viable meal plan for me as I do not know if I will have enough energy from the food after my track workouts to lift and get decent gains. Any tips and recommendations are greatly appreciated.
