I work in a fridge, 3°c all day n night... I train nearly everyday rarely take rest days, weigh 73kg, I'm strong and in good shape, but I'm recently finding weight gain a problem...
I do 3000calories a day sometimes alot more, I drink a couple of litres of whole fat milk every day (and have done for over ten years so no **** about that please just putting it out there for fair analysis of this situation as its doing my tits in...) And rexently started upping my calories with a 20 piece fry up 4 nights per week and this confused me as u can all imagine, I stopped the Fry ups... I was scared, I'd never looked so lean so quick with out trying either, I had the cold at the time and thought it might have played a part in the fat loss... But so I stopped the big fry ups and I started actually losing weight as well as looking leaner again without ever trying to get lean or lose weight, my diet was still the same as it had been for longer than I can remember and still remains unchanged... Simply carbs and protein, i dont eat sweet **** or alot of veg just cereals tuna eggs chicken and beef (not a rice or pasta fan sickened myself, still eat them sometimes post work out if I'm not working)
But, in fact my goal alll along was to gain around 15-20 kg bringing me nearly 100 as I was in and around 78-9kg before the random weight loss and now it looks as though that target is growing... Anyone else ever experience anything similar??... Or even know any way of preventing weight loss in the cold?? I already train at night so that I'm not cold all day after training and i intermittently fast 16 hours a day 8hours of sleeping time included in time so that my food is being consumed a couple of hours into my shift every night so that its not all being used to keep me warm what more can I do to work around it?? I don't know how much more i can eat, I haven't got much fat left and at this point its precious as I don't plan on competing and couldn't imagine being any colder in work lol.
Cheers guys.
