Okay so I’ve been going to the gym for awhile but more to eat what I like rather than seriously look at my nutrition. Now I’ve decided to start a lean bulk. I’ve just finished a 2 week mini cut before I started. I was on 2400 calories for this and went from 172.2lbs to 168.2lbs, so 4 pounds total. My question is, I want to start a bulk but lean as possible. I’d assume my maintenance is roughly 2600-2700 based on the weight loss over those two weeks.
My current plan was to go for about 2900 for the first week and monitor my weight changes and then maybe look to increase slowly up to 3,000-3,100.
Any advice on the best way to start the lean bulk, based on the calories mentioned
I’m 6 foot 1, 168lbs probably around 15% I’d guess. This is the lightest I’ve been in ages. I usually am somewhere between 176-182lbs. I have quite a high metabolism, slowed down alittle now I’m 30. But basically I went from 176-182 down to 172 as i was abit lazy with the gym and didn’t track my calories
