I haven't paid much attention to what I eat, but a month ago I downloaded MyFitnessPal and went with the suggested 2400 kcal per day, scales and all. The suggested daily calories seem to be less than what I would've eaten otherwise, though what I used to eat wasn't optimal and usually random—sometimes losing weight, sometimes gaining.
This month it's been some 155 grams of protein per day on average. Fat some 80 grams per day, though this varies—it could be ten grams less on occasion. It's been a whole month with almost no running or other activities that burn a lot of calories. So, a month close to the BMR. My body weight is the same as last month, and my volume has stagnated on all major lifts, and I do less pull-ups now than a month ago.
