Hello, i always had trouble eating all the food i needed for gains, the most trouble i had with breakfast - i could never eat when i woke up and even a couple of hours after i wake up. In the evening my apetite suddenly wakes up and i can eat lots of food. This has always been a problem for me when i was trying to gain mass. Then i discovered a simple solution - start the day with 100 grams (3.5 ounce) of peanuts. I put them into a little cup and ate them easily. This was a whooping 600 calories in just a few seconds and i had no trouble eating all the remaining calories during my day. On top of peanuts i ate about 300 grams of meat, 200 grams of pasta (macaroni), 60 grams of whey, 1 liter of milk, some potatoes and ofcourse veggies. All this was about 2500 calories, enough for me to see gains.
But here comes the problem. I have been reading about omega 3 and noticed that i have some health issues that enough omega 3 could help with. I decided to try and keep a good ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 (i would like to try and keep them in ratio of at least 1:4). Now here comes the problem. 100g of peanuts have a whooping 15,6 grams of omega 6. No matter how many omega 3 pills i take and how much fish i eat, i will never account for that amount of omega 6 i get from peanuts. So sadly, i will have to keep peanuts per day to a low amount.
My question is, what would be a good substitute for peanuts, something i can eat just as easily and doesnt fill me up ? Another good part of peanuts is its price - they are insainely cheap, about 4 times cheaper then other nuts like wallnuts.
