What’s the news... On number twos?

Ok, so, I’m cutting. Have been for 2 months now. Down almost 30lb (209->181) I’m eating around 1,700 calories & running/lifting 3-5x/wk.

The thing is...
I’m routinely going days without pooping! When I do poop (maybe every 3rd or 4th day) I’ll poop once, then three, four, maybe five times afterwards I’m fairly rapid succession.

I’ve been taking stool softeners, hoping they’ll help, but they don’t seem to do anything with the irregularity. After pooping ( half the afternoon) I’ll show a record weight on the scale the next morning, then it’ll just climb & climb for the next few days again.

I’m eating an all natural diet, high in fiber, no white flour or BA carbs, lots of fruit & veggies, whole grains, nuts, etc.

So, wtf!?

Maybe I’m not drinking enough water? Idk.

Any thoughts? Surely people training for boxing matches (or other weight-specific competitions) can’t be stockpiling four days of poop while trying to hit exact weight goals. Is there some trick to being more regular? Anyone else have this issue?
