Hi, let me start off by saying I've been training my entire life, am a certified trainer, and am well versed on nutrition, protein-fats-carbs-macros etc. I am a Muay Thai fighter in Thailand, now training at an intensity and frequency I have never trained at before. It's also hot / humid as balls. I noticed my sweat reeks of ammonia (I mean like it came out of a bottle) and my skin is breaking out. I am sweat covered about 5 hours a day, 6 days a week. I did a little research and apparently need to way up my carbs. (Btw I know about overtraining. If you fight in Thailand, you over train. That's all there is to it here). Question: has anyone else gone through something similar, and carbs aside, is there anything else anyone has done to get back to normal (besides resting- when I am not training I am resting or eating). I have a fight in 3 weeks and need to keep smashing it. Thanks all.
