Any downsides to slowly cutting weight?

By slow cutting I’m talking about a 200-300 calorie deficit instead of 500+. I’m mainly looking to lean down form ~20% body fat down to 10-12% and I want to maintain as much strength and muscle possible. I guess my concern is if there is any harm in being in a deficit like this for a long time?
