Coffee After Workouts

Is there any science to suggest if this is counterproductive?

From what I have read, in an ideal situation you'd try to relax as much as you can post-workout to get back into the 'parasympathetic' state... sitting/laying down, having protein, etc.

I doubt coffee is very helpful with that, but I usually love a post-workout coffee... it's just a habit now... but I'm wondering if perhaps it could be doing some harm in my ability to 'settle' back into a more restorative state.
