I seem to be having the same problems in overcoming my junk food cravings. I am trying to lost 15ilbs for summer. My workout program is all good and I am doing some good cardio sessions.
I am having major issues with my junk food cravings. I can stick to my diet for a couple of weeks and see myself making good progress. Eventually though my mindset becomes really weak and I end up giving into my junk food cravings and binge eat lots of rubbish which then puts me back to where I started. I keep repeating this cycle and do not seem to make any progress.
It is all to do with my mindset. I really struggle to make healthy eating a part of my everyday life. As soon as I slightly deviate away from my healthy diet I think to myself "well what is the point" and I completely go overboard and binge eat junk food for days. I then feel terrible and eventually get my diet back on track but again I will slip up soon after and go on a junk food binge fest and lose my weight loss progress.
I know this is to do with poor self discipline and a weak mind. Has anyone got any tips to overcome this and completely eradicate the junk food binges and make healthy eating a part of my every day life which comes naturally and is enjoyable?
