Nutritional Science & Consistency

Sup all, I have been doing some thinking, when it comes to nutritional philosophies and the different types of diet lifestyles out there has there been studies done where science had shown more of a gravitation to long term consistency when it comes to one lifestyle versus another? I am not saying if there is one is superior over another but I am curious if there has been? Also when it comes to raw meat diets, anyone know how that effects the immune system over time, or in general can bacteria exposure, good bacteria strengthen the immune system and does source matter dairy vs plants vs meats for example?
