Folks,
Like most of us. I mostly eat: a carb + veggie + meat.
Carbs can be: sweet potato, quinoa, rice, sweet potato, etc.
Veggies can be any green like broc**** or haricots and tomato/paprika etc
Meat: quality beef or chicken
Usually I throw everything in the oven. Or in case of rice, I cook the rice separately parallel to the baking process. Broc**** I like better when cooked rather than baked so I steam bro.co.li (why this word is black listen, wft)* on top of the rice pan.
I do not have much time to make diner and monitoring different pans and plates and washing them.
Therefore, actually looking at an all-in-one tool like Crock Pot. But before pulling the trigger on one, I'd like to hear your opinion/advice on the same.
Are these things really saving time and effort? Can you throw in chicken, open the lid and add veggies/rice/water? Also, I do not have time to "slow cook" my food. I'm looking at a solution to cook/steam/bake my food in less than 30min with as little mess possible.
Please share your workflow and thoughts with me.
Thnx
