Ok so I’ve been cutting for about 4 months now and have lost about 20 or so pounds. I think some of it has been muscle but I’ve been very strict on my diet and have seen a lot of fat cut.
My problem is that I still have a decent amount of stomach fat. Much more than I had originally thought when I started cutting. Ive been feeling pretty weak/skinny/ready to bulk and I wanted to start a bulk for the new year, but I’m not sure I’ll be at my goal bf % (12%) by then. Should I just go ahead and start the bulk either way or continue cutting until I’m at 12%? I’ve read it’s optimal to be bulking at 12% and I want to get rid of the belly fat long term, but if that’s wrong I’d gladly start bulking. I’ve also read on the forums that a lot of ppl my size or bigger asking if they should cut or bulk are told to bulk to build some muscle. Below are my stats and ive got some pics on my bodyspace profile (would love some guesses on my bf %) but any input is appreciated
Height: 5’11.75”
Weight: 158
Diet macros: pro-200
Carb-130
Fat-70
Workout plan: Vikings upper/lower
