Hey,
I asked for some advice a while back on here and I've been following that by and large. I'm still not making any progress with fat loss though. Eating a bit more has seen my body fat % go up so can someone just give me a pointer here please? I just want to maintain current muscle/strength and lose the fat and I've read that if maybe I'm not eating enough it makes my body retain fat - but I don't just wanna go pork out and suddenly go obese.
So TDEE says I should be eating 2,700 calories given my activity level
I'm actually eating 2100 with a 180g protein goal
I'm 5'11, weigh 190lbs with bf at 22% (up from 18.5%) - although I'm not 100% sure those electronic things are accurate
I do 3 x resistance training for one hour per week (upper/lower split). Each Tuesday I do a cardio circuit which burns around 800 calories. Every second Sunday I do a 2 hour cardio circuit which burns around 1700-1800 calories (information from chest monitor).
My job is primarily desk based.
Help me out here folks, what should I do - so demoralizing :/ I'm at the stage of thinking of eating at TDEE and seeing what happens, but I don't want to see by body fat going up to 25% again - if I can eat at TDEE and keep aroudn 20% that would be good for now or at least heartening.
