Hey guys, i started going to gym by the end of september, and even though i had a high amount of body fat, i was also skinny as **** since its cold weather season i decided to bulk first.
Im currently eating 200 cals above TDEE, and i could notice my weight increasing as expected during October, however after weighting myself to see the progress made in november i can tell that the scale didnt move, which is strange because i feel like im getting a little bit stronger every week ( 3 weeks ago i couldnt do more than 2-3 reps with the weight im doing 6-7reps right now on bench press for example).
When it comes for what i look into the mirror i can notice very little diferences but not much which is normal because im only on my 3rd month bulking and my bf is kinda high ( between 17 and 19%). The main difference i do notice in my body is that it feels way hard and probably didnt gain much fat either.
So i have my scale telling me i should increase my calorie intake and my gym progress telling me that with this diet im getting stronger and following a progressive overload routine.
Whats your opinion about this? should i start increasing calories in order to gain more weight or should I stay this way as long as i can manage to improve my lifts on the gym?
PS: lost all the data on my computer so i cannot post any before/after pictures. Still searching on this forum because i think i posted here somewhere, if i manage to find it i will attach.
