Hey, so i've been a lurker of these forums for a while now and have taken many tricks aboard from you lovely experienced lifters and was looking for some advice/info to help get me rolling on the gains train.
I previously used to be roughly 16-17 stone as of around 3 years ago, I started going gym free-nilly and started forcing myself to rebuild what had turned out to be a body made of caffeine and sugar (energy drink binging).
Basically a load of different things happened with my dad dying, moving house, having another child etc so i flunked and kept myself on the loop of maybe i'll go tomorrow but without the effort of going to the gym, anyways I got a new job after that as a dustman for my local council, brilliant job and tons of perks but recently i've gotten my motivation for a healthier lifestyle back, Now picture this I handball roughly anywhere between 16-30 ton of rubbish (collected via my poor body and launched into the back of a dustcart) per day, as of my fitbit this is roughly translating into 20-25 miles of calories burned daily without calculating energy expenditures of actually picking up the bags, farmers walking with them down the road, lobbing them in etc.
Now I don't eat breakfast (boo me), I have the routine for gym down to a T and I am making progress in my lifts (previous pb was 165kg quat, currently back to 130s) but I am so very much struggling to find an appetite to eat any sort of food during the day, this is a 7-8 hour work/exercise shift and I basically have 0 hunger all day after lifting to much, is that normal?
I eat chicken/veg/turkey/beef/rice/pasta atleast twice a day (painfully and forcefully), I try to guzzle milk as i know most days im stuck in a deficit as well as load of on calory rich food like peanut butter, eggs, avocado and anything I can actually stomach to eat.
Any suggestions to my plight?, would a weight gainer fix some of my issue aslong as i'm forcing down proper balanced food?
I currently weigh 12 stone, i'm 5 ft 11 inches
