Carbs/Fats Question for sedentary

For people who are largely sedentary outside of the gym AND train first thing in the morning, would a good strategy be to eat high carb and low/moderate fat on workout days,, and high fat, low carb on non workout days during the morning and afternoon, and then have a high carb meal the night before the next morning workout session? Is this a thing, and more importantly, does it sound like a good strategy to keep body fat lower than eating high carbs on sedentary rest days? Thanks!
