Unwanted weight loss

Hi everyone,
I was a dedicated lifter the whole last year and put on 7 kg, a lot for someone with my metabolism. But now i have a hard summer job, eat probably 1/4 of what i used to eat and therefore have a lack of motivation. In one month I lost all the mass I’ve been building so long.
Now my question: can muscle memory help and will I now be able to put the mass up again but faster?
