So at my worst last November, I was around 241 lbs. Starting this new year I lost a ton of weight and now I'm at around 204 lbs last time I weighed in. I have been going to the gym almost everyday since January but it has been mostly unorganzied and I feel like I am no longer making progress.
So I have been reading a bit of the forums and I've decided to overhaul how I approach my fitness journey. According to website linked this stickied Calculating Calories & Macros How to post. my tdee is around 2.7k calfor weightloss should be around 2.1k which seems much higher than around 1.6k I take in a day right now. I'm going to be following the Novice Feirce 5 work out and I'm trying to figure out how thats will effect my macros.
Also I'm trying to figure out if my calculations for my Macros are good.
At 204 lbs:
Protien: 163g @ .8g per lb
Fat: 81.6 @.4g per lb
As for the dieting part, I'm going to be restructuring what I eat starting monday but I'm having some issues figuring out how I'm going to count calories. The issue is that most of the of the meat I eat comes from the butchers at the supermarket and they offer no nutrition facts for the chicken. Another example would be that I usually get breakfast at a cafeteria where I work since I don't usually have time for meal prep. A regualr breakfast fro me would be scrambled egg whites with a few small turkey sausage links but once again they don't offer the nutrition facts (although I can weigh the food). It's a similar situation when I get lunch at the same place. How do I go about finding baseline nutrition information for these things that I can use to calculate what I'm getting?
