Hi all
I'm your typical skinny fat male in his late 20's, on a vegetarian diet. I've worked out on/off for years, but for the past 4 months have been consistent (doing Boring But Big and tracking my macros). Recently decided to get a DEXA scan before starting my next cycle.
I've been tracking myself on the InBody machine - recent scan last week showed up at 11.6% body fat @ 177 lbs (increase of 4 pounds in the last 2 months, and drop of 1.5% bf). - I was surprised when I did my DEXA scan and saw 23% bf!!
Hoping for some tips, advice, and thoughts on my results (attached). Ideally I want to keep strength + hypertrophy training, as aesthetically I am still "skinny-fat" so to speak. Will hopefully attach some pics later. I'm currently eating 2650 calories and aiming for a 40/30/30 split in my macros (although being on a vegetarian diet, sometimes my protein intake is a bit lower... more like 25%).
Thanks community!
