Macronutrient percentages

So I’m new to counting macros, but I have been working out for about 6 years now. I’m about 5’7” and 180 pounds. I’m trying to keep the muscle mass I have while shedding about 5-7 pounds. So I’m currently following 60 20 20 (protien, carb, fat) respectively, and overall, I’m taking in about 280 grams of protein per day. Is there any negative to this? I drink 2 scoops of protein in the morning and at night after my workout, I have three 7oz portions of chicken, two 4oz portions of ground turkey, and 1 cup of rice per day. I’ve heard rumors that excess protien can store as fat, but I’m only eating 2000 calories per day
