How to gain weight: whey vs body mass

So I'm 85 pounds and a teenager who's 13 years I want to gain some weight and along with that some muscle. But I don't want to have humongous arms and a six pack. I just want to have a healthy body. To give you an idea. You can feel my spine and ribs and my back bones when I sit they like pop out. So I want muscle\weight to cover up these things and im considerably weak and can't play in many sports. So should I use body mass or whey. And can you put both powders into a strawberry and banana and Dannon light and fit strawberry banana shake? Thank you for the help.( I wondering if you can eat both powders in a protein shake, not together)
