I have been doing the fierce 5 dumbbell for about a month and a half now, and have already noticed some small gains. But I still retain a bit of fat.
Because I was obese in the past, I am a bit scared to eat more than maintenance calories - 500 or eat in a deficit.
This leaves me at 1,750 calories a day. I am 5'8 and 143lbs. I am also 16 so I know it isn't healthy to restrict my diet,
but I don't want to become obese again. If I am correct, in order to get the most out of my workout, I should eat maintenance or in a bulk right?
How would I eat more to gain muscle without getting fat?
Thanks for reading the long post, I appreciate any responses.
