Does lifting in a fasted state break your fast?

Fellas,

I've been trying out working out first thing in the morning, while in a fasted state. Last meal in the evening before is around 8-9pm and I head into the gym around 8-9am and will break my fast with a glorious post-workout meal, meaning I follow the typical 16/8 intermittent fasting regime.

Question is: if I'm not mistaken, intense, low-moderate rep range weight lifting raises blood glucose slightly, therefore raising insulin levels. Now the whole goal of fasting is to keep insulin levels low, so does this increase in insulin (due to weight lifting) technically break the fast or is it irrelevant, because I'm not taking in any exogenous calories?

Thanks in advance!
