Ok so I’m 18 5’ 11” and 156 lbs. so I started consistently lifting 3 days a week one week ago. I am doing 5x5 stronglifts program and sticking to a 2500 calorie bulking diet consisting of 220 g of protein, 200 g of carbs, and 40 g of fat. My starting lifts were 200 lb backsquat, 120 lb press, and 240 lb deadlift. I also completely cut out soda and started water only. Well last week I weighed 156.8 lbs and when I weighed myself today I weighed 153.4. My question is... why am I losing weight??? I know I shouldn’t get too caught up in it as it was only a week but I am just curious why I am going down and not up. Also I would bump my calories up but I am literally eating the maximum I possibly can. Sometimes I literally feel like Im going to throw up and Im already so damn tired of eating oatmeal.
