Hello folks,
I need some help from the experienced people here. Lately, I have been putting on weight for absolutely no reason. I eat only two meals a day and it goes as follows:
Breakfast: a smoothie and a plate of fruit and some nuts.
Lunch: Tuna salad, a cup of Greek yogurt, watermelon rinds (I like them for some reason), and that's pretty much it.
Now, this is how it goes for most of the week. On the weekends, I change my breakfast to banana-oat pancakes. Also, on one of the weekend days, I eat whatever I fancy (more like a cheat day).
Could that ONE day cause weight gain? I don't indulge to the point it reaches over 5000 or 4000 calories. I read somewhere that one day of bad eating won't cause weight gain (I do get water retention the next day, but it disappears by the end of the day).
As far as working out is concerned, I work out 6 days a week, 3 of which include HIIT and kickboxing, and the other 3 are body-weight strength.
I tested my TSH hormones and they came out normal. I also did a pelvic ultrasound to see if I happen to have PCOS, but nope; all clear.
Please help! :')
