Hey guys, I havent been paying attention to this topic earlier and didnt know about the optimal daily protein intake for building muscle at all. I used to eat around 290 grams of protein every day and just thought, that you need to get as much protein as possible, however when i have done my blood test recently, i was told that my kidneys were not working as efficient as they could and i was told that could be, because of my high protein intake. So i have done a little bit research and found out that i need aprox. 160g of protein a day 2g per 1kg (i weight 80kg). However i watched this youtube channel Jeff Nippard, who i know you can trust and he said that for most optimal muscle building diet you need to space out your protein throughout the day. You should eat 0.4 g/bw protein a meal, which means for me its 32g a meal and i should eat approx. 5 times a day. What i wanted to ask is: if i would eat 3 times a day and have 50 or more g protein in my meals, would it really matter and would it give me worse results?
Sorry if thats a dumb question, but I really need to find this out.
Thanks for your help
