Is this good progress?

I've been going to the gym for 6 months straight now and ive been wondering what is the limit of muscle mass one can build during the first year. I used to be at 28kg skeletal muscle mass and now im at 34, that's 13lbs of lean muscle in half a year? Are these average gains?!
