Someone please just confirm this to me if I am correct, I cook in bulk to meal prep like I’m sure almost everyone here does. Lets say I have exactly 72oz of raw chicken breast, I plan to eat 8oz each meal 3 times a day which is 24 oz a day. The 72oz should last me exactly 3 days worth of chicken. Now, after cooking, let’s say it now weighs 50oz, I simply divide the amount of possible meals the 72oz could’ve given me which is 9 meals for 3 days right? Which now means 5.5oz cooked would have the nutritional value of 8oz raw, correct? I know this ain’t rocket science, I’m clearly over thinking this and I just want someone to confirm to me that this is how it should be calculated when cooking in bulk. Thanks!
