Would appreciate some diet critique please. My main issue is getting enough protein into my diet with the amount of calories I have. I even struggle getting the minimum 0.7 grams per pound of bodyweight. Anybody got any comments on my diet and whether the macros are concerning? I sometimes find the only way to get enough protein is to drink shakes....
Details for consideration:
- In process of a cut (day 2), goal is 2 pounds per week. Starting weight 201 pounds, about 25% bodyfat, 5ft11. I have a reasonable amount of muscle under my slabs of fat
- Looking to get to 170 ish pounds and re-assess. I'll probably need to go lower. Not looking to be ahnold, but lean enough so that the moobs disappear
- Cutting calories are 1800
- Activity level is 3/4 nights a week doing legs/upper body splits with one rest day and running / swimming on non gym days
Diet - Been advised by the sticky to not list out what I eat, so will give you the total macros and grams for day 2 (day 1 very similar), noted in order of Protein / Fat / Carb.
133/83/120 equating to 1708 Calories.
