complete beginner to bulking

so been cutting, reached goal weight with lean enough body frame now i want to start bulking, since i lost 15KG i'd hate to be in the same position again..Most recommend 1-2lbs / month weight gain so between 200-300calories surplus but when i read muscle growth potential models from Helmes, Mcdonald and Aragon its something like 2lbs (that's muscle only) or 1.5% of BW for novices which i am..If i go on 250calories surplus i'll end up with 18,5 lbs in a 7months bulk, is this reasonable?or is it too conservative?
